Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

You're connecting the mouse/keyboard receiver to the display? I would never have considered that. I connect mine to the PC, either directly or through a powered hub. But then my monitor doesn't have a USB port. Perhaps that works, I don't know, but I've never seen it.

Apparently it's a feature on some recent Monitors. My Chiro has one. Works like a regular usb. I dunno if it inputs through regular usb sockets as some powered hub or just through hdmi. Frankly doing it through hdmi would be weird but they might have some spare wires.

Of course I also saw that some guy had managed to get the Android version of Doom running on his fridge

Hi all,

On following link
Re: Screen flickering on XPS 13 7390 Ubuntu
https://www.dell.com/community/Linux...g/td-p/7430121

The advice from TheseusLinux solves my problem.

Now I can re-plug the receiver of MS wireless keyboard and wireless mouse on the USB port at the back of the Dell display without problem. Occasionally the online video on full screen will flicker to dark screen and back in about 3~5 seconds. I suppose it is the problem of the online video.

Regards
