I recently installed ELX(Everyones Linux) on my system. I have a SM56 internal modem. I downloaded drivers for it from sm56.tk a tar file and used makefile to installl it. then i tried running the wizard to detect my modem but it doesnt detect. i also tried from the dial up connections to put it on ttys3 (as my modem is on COM 4 in windows) but it gives modem busy reply on dial up(even when i try to query modem on that port the modem busy error comes), I tried to reset the modem but no avail. all other stuff got detected properly but this didnt.. pls help soon..........
