how to connect to ethernet in user mode linux

hi am using fedora 5, i had installed user mode linux ,can i connect to internet in user mode linux.

is tht possible
my ifconfig is
[root@localhost ~]# ifconfig
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr: Mask:

can any one help me,
where to change ip address and network settings

There are several documents on the Internet, describing how to do that. Have you tried searching google?
