How to check Raid config on Red Hat system

Hello all,

I was curious to find out how can you tell how the RAID setup is configured on a Red Hat enterprise edition server.

We currently have a Dell Power Edge 2650 and would like to find out the RAID configuration without having to reboot the system. Is this possible in Red Hat?

Thanks in advance,
Ghost

I think this is possible, or at least monitoring the state of the raid controller is.

If you used dell's installation cd to install redhat enterprise then it should have already installed the appropriate software.

If not then you need to visit dell's support site where they have downloadable RPMs which include the mamagement software for the raid controller just put your service tag number (located on your machine) into the site then visit the downloads section. Select the appropriate version of RH Enterprise and you will find all the RAID controller stuff in there. If I remember from the last time I did this there is a tool that lets you view the RAID config although in how much detail I can't remember.
