how to add new drive to existing software RAID 0 without losing the data?
 
is it possible to add new drive to existing software RAID 0 (suse linux 10.1 enterprise server) without losing the data?

I would simply do a backup to a USB disk, reconfigure the disks, then restore the data. You should do a backup before changing the configuration anyway so take advantage of it and make the job easy on yourself.

yes that would do it but the problem is that i have 2x500G on existing software raid 0 full drives so i dont have where to do a backup so i asked for a solution of addition of a new drive without messing up the data that is already on the two disks
