How many different modules are there for nic cards?

How many different modules are there for nic cards?

How can I load them all with modprobe to make sure mine is covered?

Unless you change hardware every day there's not
much point in doing this, in an "ideal case" you'll just
slow down the boot; in the "worst case" your box may
crap out.

Just use the one you know you have.
