how do you disable hardware on linux?
i have onboard sound, which doesn't work and a sound card...
its picking up them both but is obviously using the one that doesn't work because... i hear no sound, how do i disable this sound card? or divert the sound to my PCI soundcard? thanks Ballam |
I don't think you can disable hardware, but I do know you can disable your onboard soundcard in the Bios. You should have a section called "Integrated Peripherals" or something similar.
Good luck. |
