Also a bit of googling told me i need to change something in the kernel but i dont know what!

Also I dont know what i shoudl have put in the kernel for setting up my wireless chipset (Rt2500), the gentoo wiki page has a bunch of options but i cant find them in make menuconfig.

There is no Gentoo without reading documentation!

I did read those guides and following the idea of using wireless-tools (IWCONFIG), i get a error at startup about net.lo or something not starting properly, this was after i linked my card to it.

For some reason i have to do modprobe ra0 before my card will come up in iwconfig, what could i have done wrong?
