How do I install this IDE Controller Card under Slackware 10?

I've got this IDE controller card which claims to be linux compatible:

arg, can't post URLs.. it's model number is DM-8401H(non RAID) and it's made by 'extreme IO' I'm sure a quick google will turn up the page I linked too!

I have a 40Gb seagate HD on there, and I wish to install slack on there... what steps do I have to take for slackware installer to see and use this drive?

Just to add, under my current install (using a drive on te mobo, not the contoller card) a lspci turns up this:

00:0b.0 RAID bus controller: Integrated Technology Express, Inc.: Unknown device 8212 (rev 11)

I think this is it?
