Read the installation guide
Download the RPM for MDK 9.0
Download the tar file for GLX
Reboot the PC to console mode.
Install the rpm:
rpm -ivh nvidia....rpm (whatever the file name is)
install glx file
tar -zxvf ...glx.tar.gz (whatever the glx tar file name is)
cd to glx directory
make install
Modify /etc/X11/X11F86Config-4 file
per installation guide change to:
Driver "nvidia"
add
load "glx"
remove if they exist
load "dri"
load "GLcore"
load nidia module
modprobe nvidia
your ready to test
startx

I installed from the src.rpm files on Red Hat 8. Found loads of help in this and other Linux forums, but put my own walk through together so I would forget how I did it. If you don't mind downloading a M$ Word file you can get my solution here : http://www.pcu-services.co.uk/linux/...%20Drivers.doc
Should be more or less the same for Mandrake

You should also have the kernel headers(kernel Source) installed if your going to be intalling from tar ball, if you don't your going to get alot of errors when you try to compile them.
