How do i Install hardware Devices? HAaaaLP


i recently installed RH 7.0. How do i add Hardware like Scanner, Cd Writer.etc....(i have driver disks) Which Software i can use to burn CD's.

1. please do NOT post your question mroe than once. ever. thankyou.

2) check the various how-to's esp for cd-writers at linuxdoc.org and a thousand other places. also search this site, it has a LOT of information on it, that will answer your question.

oh and of course... driver disks are useless 99.99% of the time, linux don't need em.

Okay I got a Umax 2000P Scanner, A Teac w54 Burner 4x write.

1) For the CDRW you should start with the CD-Writing-HOWTO.
2) Setting up your scanner depends on how it connects to your computer, but you can start by looking at SANE.
