[SOLVED] how do i install a bluetooth printer

Hi,

i have a star L200 Ticketprinter that works with bluetooth.

In Ubuntu bluetooth recognises the device as a printer.

In the dialogue for printers it does not show up, trying to install it manually i do not find a way to define a bluetooth-printer.

I run Kubuntu 18.04 on a HP-Notebook.

Any hint is welcome.

Hi, i found it myself.

hcitool scan
shows the mac-address

"URI:" "bluetooth://" and the same string of letters and numbers (mac-address) but without the semicolons that you put on the end of "hci --connect". It should look like this:

bluetooth://001638C26B79/

After that i could load the ppd-file.

PS. one should download the setup for MAC, in there you can find scrips for installing the driver in Linux (Cups)
