How do I Copy modual in to kerral?? (more of a nebie question)


I am trying to in stall my airlink wireless card (acx100)(pci)
I have this driver for it and i havn't learned much of linux yet so i need to know how to

$cd /lib/modules/2.4.18*/kernel/drivers/net/
$chmod 700 acx100_pci.o
And is it possible to put it in koppix?? how??
