How do I add another /dev/video device?


I'm trying to get my camera working under Ubuntu 5.10 but to no avail. I only have one video device and that is /dev/video0. How would I got about to get another /dev/video device?

Take a look at the "motion" camera monitoring program:

There are docs on the site for creating video loopback devices other than video0.
