how can i turn of my bluetooth

i am using ubuntu on my laptop and it has built in bluetooth.
but i want to turn it off.
can some one guide me how to do it.

I think if you check "system, preferences, bluetooth preferences, it is there that you can do as you so desire. At least that is where mine is, running 7.10 Hope this helps. Dan
