Question How can I set up a two monitor desktop with an ATI video card?

I just setup Ubuntu 8.04 and I cannot figure out how to setup so both monitors act as one. It is an ATI B2. It came with a installation CD. I don't know about the driver. How can I get it to work? I ordered an Ubuntu book, but it will not be here until the end of the week. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Guys, I just want to say thanks for the generous and sincere efforts to help me. I solved the problem by upgrading to 8.10 and going to Display and clicking next to the box displayed. The second display showed up and that was it. Thanks again.
