How can i cofigure serial printer in redhat linux9?

I m using redhat linux 9 on pentiuum 4. I want to use my dot matrix "SEIKOSHA BP58??" printer using a serial cable. The kernel of the linux is in text mode not a GUI.
I want 2 know what will be the getty entry in inittab file.
What will be the setting of the printer?
What will be the stty entries, if any?
I want as much extensive detail in this problem as possible

Why do you think you need to mess with the initabb file for setting a printer ??. Gnome and Kde have useful manager that allows you to set a printer .
