how can i benchmark my pc like with sisoftsandra?


Hi, I want to know if there is a soft like Sisoft Sandra or Everest in Windows, but working on Linux, so I can check my ram.

It depends what you want to do.

If you want to know how much RAM is in use, you can use the 'free' command. 'top' will also show memory usage.

If you want to test your RAM for errors, there's Memtest86, which is a free memory examination program.

Also there is the Ultimate Boot CD...a live cd with several benchmarking tools.

Thank you very much! What I want to do is to test the memory bandwitch, and the hadr drive rate because under windows Everest gave my some problems, so I want to see if under Linux there aren`t any problems, to chek that realy windows is the problem
