Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Hot plug mouse patch for Linux Ent 3

I have several Linux Ent 3 servers in a Dell rack. There is a single TFT, keyboard and mouse so access the servers. However when a mouse is unconnected and reconnected in an X session then it won't work until X is rebooted. Are there any patches to allow the mouse to work without restarting X?

Thanks

Chris
