Highpoint rocketraid 2220 card

Hey people i`m looking at setting up a file server.

i`ve been looking at the above card and it says its linux compatible but someone on another forum said its not natively supported by linux which would cause problems.

Has anyone got this card working under linux? is it stable?

ARe there any other cards you can suggest. i like the fact that this card will let me add new drives without the need to rebuild the raid array and this is really what I want so what would you suggesT?
