your question makes very little sense, but i guess you want to mount a drive to get some data off of it before installing over the top? your fc5 cd / dvd is a good option, you can boot with rescue mode which will scan for existing partitions and systems and mount them under /mnt/sysimage for you automatically, but if not, you'll still get a shell you can mount drives in and copy to another disk or over a network.
