Unhappy Help with swap partition and CDROM drive

I just recently installed Red Hat 9 on a PII I had sitting around. I installed from CD images I had burned and everything went smooth. The next day the controller board on the HDD (master at the time) was starting to act up so I switched the HDD from the master of the primary IDE channel and put it on the secondary chain with the CDROM drive as the master and the HDD as slave. As of right now I see that when booting, the 'swapon' command fails because it says that there isn't a swap partition at the place it was at before... so how would I switch this so I can use the swap partition I already created???

The CDROM drive is the same.. it is not seeing it after that I switched everything around after the install was finished. I thought the hardware detector would have recognized and corrected any such problem but I guess not. :^(

PLEASE HELP! I am clueless at where to start with this problem! Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

"so how would I switch this so I can use the swap partition I already created???"

You designate the location of the swap partition by editing /etc/fstab.

THANK YOU!!! Thank you so much for your help... as easy as it was it solved both problems mysteriously! All it too was to edit the file and switch "hda3" to "hdb3." Thanks a million!
