Hello,

I asked my question with specifics as I know them in the Mandrake distro forum under "10.0 Help With USB Cable Modem..." as it is apparently specific to Mandrake, I've tried with 9 and now 10 and still haven't gotten able to use the internet!

I do not wish to duplicate a long message by hand so if anyone who is smart and knows hardware (cable modems), usb, or CDCEther, Mandrake, or whatever might help please read my message.

Search for "10.0 Help With USB Cable Modem" subject or anything written by me. I haven't written much (only problems I am afriad... I've longed to be able to learn something to help another but I haven't even been able to get online with it yet.

I have done a search here, apparently others have asked. I followed three links (two in one message, one in another) and wasn't able to get it working... Reasons are stated in my other message along with specifics.
