I am trying to get an eltron 2442 label printer to work with cups. I tried looking to google for help but didn't turn up much except a couple of other people trying to do the same. anyone here ever try it or get it to work?

i think there are 3 or so major printfilter tools for linux.
you should check the others too. you don't have to
use cups. i wish i could remember the other names
about now, but i do remember the picture of the
german guy that prints out on the test page of one of
them. the guy that wrote it. Ugg. i still can't remember.
