Help with creative mp3 player

Hi,
I have a problem with being able to access my creative mp3 player (model #PA-20) with linux. I thought that I should be able to access it like a usb mass storage device but to no avail.

Its listed in lsusb as:

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 090a:1003 Trumpion Microelectronics Inc.

and if i cat /proc/scsi/usb-storage-0/1, i get

Host scsi1 : usb-storage
Vendor : Unknown
Product : Unknown
Serial Number : None
Protocol : Reduced Block Commands (RBC)
Transport : Control/Bulk
GUID : 090a10030000000000000000
Attached : Yes

and attaching it adds listing of /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun/0/generic

I tried mounting the above device listing and i got:

mount: /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/generic is not a block device

And finally but not least, the output of tail /var/log/messages when I attach the device reads:

Nov 18 20:09:04 localhost kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:09.0-1, assigned address 6
Nov 18 20:09:07 localhost /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Setup usb-storage for USB product 90a/1003/100
Nov 18 20:09:07 localhost /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Module setup usb-storage for USB product 90a/1003/100
Nov 18 20:09:07 localhost /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage: Load scsimon
Nov 18 20:09:07 localhost /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage: scsimon allready loaded

Am I missing something here? Any help to get this working would be greatly appreciated. As always, if you need more information, just ask and Ill provide. Thanks in advance. :)
