Help w/ Senao 2511 (Prism2) and hostap

CentOS 2.6.9 (hostap in kernel?)
Senao 2511 PCMCIA wireless card, FW 1.7.4

How do I get this setup to use the hostap drivers? Right now the Senao card shows up as eth1 but my understanding is that it's supposed to be wlan0 if the hostap drivers are being used... Are there any utilities that simplify this process?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!
