Help to remove Ubuntu

First hi, this is my first post here, i am a complete noob to linux.

I have 2 pc's, pc 1 has 2 hard drives, Ubuntu is installed in a partition on the second drive, while Xp is on the first drive.

As i want to learn about Linux i bought a second machine and installed Ubuntu to that 1.

I need to know how to remove Ubuntu,

1) I believe that i need to delete the partition ( is that correct )

2) a) Partition magic sees the 2nd drive ( with 3 partitions) but claims the whole 40gb drive is bad, and will not let me perform any operations on it, apart from format and set active.
b) windows computer management sees the drive and will let me delete the partition. ( should i choose that option)

3) is there anything else i should know or do.

Thanks for your time.

You can delete partitions on the second (Linux) hard drive if nothing is valuable on that hard drive. Then you can make new partitions and format them.

Electro thanks for your advice, everything is fine now, apart from partition magic. But thats more for a Windows forum i suspect.

Thanks.
