How about nobody helps you till you take 1 minute to read the forum rules and guidelines and figure out all the information your missing that people are going to need to solve this.
Like, what card? What computer? PCMCIA? USB? PCI?

Caeda - there is no need to be so harsh, especially to a new member who just signed up today. It really isn't that hard to make your point without being unfriendly. In the future, please just skip the sarcasm.
nixerwannab - Welcome to LQ. The point behind Caeda's reply was simply that in order for people to answer the question, it is important to provide technical details about the equipment you're using. If you can specify the exact card you're using, the distro you're using, and other technical details about your PC, it will enable folks to better answer your question. Similarly, it would be a big help to describe the steps you have taken, the error or system messages that were produced, etc. Good luck with it. -- J.W.

well i noted that its a usb card, its my friends card so im not sure what type it is but i know its the linksys usb B card, not sure what its called tho, but i think that model is like wusb11B maybe if they follow the same pattern they do for my card which is a wusb54G. its suse 9.1 personal as stated in the header. its on his HP Pavilion, again its his computer so im not sure of the specs. also i have looked at the tutorials online but they only confuse me or dont work. so....idk what to do.
