Unhappy Help redhat 7.3 on IBM t40

Hi guys,

I bought a brand new IBM t40 and tried times to install redhat 7.2 7.3 8.0 on it, but failed?

for 7.2 7.3, I can install but Xwindows cannot work!!
I thought the problem is because of the graphic card. ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.

for redhat 8.0, after booting from the CD, message " cannot find harddisk" showed)

any solution to this?

thanks and regards!

(the reason for install 7.3 or 8.0 is that some EDA tools only support 7.3 or 8.0, no higher version)
