HELP: Migrate to new server
 

Hello all,

I need to migrate a red hat box with kernel 2.4.18 from a server to another.

The first one had scsi disks with raid controller, and had defined two logical discs.

I copied with dd ( Automated Image Restore ) /dev/sda to /dev/sdc. sdc is a usb external disk.

After the first copy, i will repeat the process to copy from the usb external disk to the new disk SATA on the new server.

After that i don´t really know waht to do, i believe that i´m gona have some problems when i boot the new server.

Can someone help me with the steps after the second copy to the new server?

Sata might be an issue. I do not think it is in the 2.4 kernels. I think it showed up about 2.6.18.
