Help me! I need to get a partition working w/ linux AND windows

It's late so I'm gonna make this brief. I'm running Win2K server and I got my system dual booted with slackware linux and that. However, I reinstalled win2k with -100 megs on the installation partition so that I could use that 100 megs to transfer files between windows and linux. I formatted it as ntfs and it'll show up under linux but only as read-only. I need it to be read-write! If that's possible, that is. Actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure what I'll need read-write for. Just for transferring FROM windows TO linux. not the other way. I'd still be interested in it for convenience purposes if anyone can help. Thanks!

There is a driver for reading ntfs partition, but writing is still beta. It could destroy your partition if you still try it. http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/
Create a FAT Partition Linux can read that too. Probably the best way to transfer files.
