Help Me!

Ia have problems with my New SUSE Linux...

I've installed Open SUSE 10.0, but at boot time video card is not responding...
this is a S3 Prosavage 8 DDR, and I'm using a Samsung SyncMaster 551v. On My screen just appear "Sync Out of range"... and it seems to SUSE load but I can't see anything on my monitor...
Please tell me how can I configure it right...

find the vertical and horizonal frequencies for your monitor. then ctrl + alt + f2 login as root, run sax2 to reconfigure your monitor settings.

When it first shows the boot screen, there should be a line to pass options to the system. Type linux 3 there to boot into command line mode. From there, log on as root and run SaX2. You should be able to configure and test your X setup there. When you have done that, you can either reboot or type telinit 5 to get to your gui.
