Help loading NIC driver

I swapped mother boards and the new one has a 3com NIC that is not suported by my 2.4 kernel. The only instructions given with the linux driver leave me to type in as root "insmod 3c2000.o". I'm sure I must be able to put this line in a file so that it is executed sometime after the kernel is loaded and before x ia done loading so I dont have to load it manually all the time.

Whats the solution?

Thanks

Fedora core 1.

add "/sbin/modprobe 3c2000" in /etc/rc.local file
that should solve it

The driver bindings for ethernet cards are generally defined in /etc/modules.conf like this:

alias eth0 e100
