Question Help: install I-Gate 11m PCI wireless card

The vendor don't support the installation of this card on linux.
Hat anybody experience with this card's installation?
I have just started to learn to use the linux system and know nothing about the hardware installation under Linux. My plattform is SuSE 8.2. Can i use yast2 to set up my card?

thank you for your help.

wireless PCI cards are kind of evil, i just recently went through the drama of finding ones that work under linux.

issue "lspci -v" from the command line and find your wireless card, then post that. it should contain the chipset of the wireless card, which will allow you to fish through the below document that discusses drivers for the various chipsets:

the unfortunate part is that a bunch of cards are either not supported or poorly supported under linux. i've got my fingers crossed that you don't have a problem

big money, no whammies, stop
