help getting a microsoft sidewinder gamepad working in debian

so, everytime i try to do "modprobe usb-ohci or usb-uhci" i get these errors that come up:

now is there anyway to resolve this? ive already done "modprobe joydev/input/sidewinder"

yeah, i just did "apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.20-k6"
