HELP!!! fstab setup?

Hey i've got a new Slackware 8.1 install, kindly setup by my neighbour but he neglected to setup my CD /RW. I was wondering if anyone would be nice enough to explain home to add it to my fstab file. I'd like to do it myself as a learning experience, rather than get my neighbour round.

This is the contents of my fstab file at the moment.
/dev/hda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0

the CD in the file already is my DVD ROM, My hard drive is primary master the DVD is primary slave and the CDR/W i want to install is secondary master. THX.

/dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrw iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0

qnd in your lilo.conf, asuming you are using lilo, you'll need to add
Quote:
append=" hdc=ide-scsi"
to the correct part, and then re-run lilo as root. replace hdc with the correct ide location for the burner. that sohould be all you need. try searching this site for any more info.
