Smile help concerning sound card


hi to all of u

my problem right now is i can't detect sound card

i can't play mp3 cd's

only data cd's work

wat shuld i do

helpppppppp

Perhaps if you post what soundcard you are using and if you get any soundcard related errors at boot (or at any other time), some of us might be able to help you.

Meanwhile, you might find your answer over at the ALSA project.
