HELP! Computer stopped booting!
 

My booting has been screwing up the last couple days I tried to switch from LILO to GRUB which i've done in the past and although mcc said it switched, it didn't also when I added entries to the boot menu from mcc they wouldn't show on boot. last night my computer booted up fine now it just says "Boot Failed." figuring something may have somehow become corrupted I deleted all partitions and formated the drive, recreated the partitions and re-installed MDK 9.2 install went fine and on reboot still got "Boot Failed" PLEASE HELP I need the computer, never seen this before. I even tried to install windows to see if that would boot to rule out physical harddrive damage...It did boot fine, no probs, and again on my re-re-format and partion mdk still gets boot failed...

hmm... do you have a boot disk? your mbr might have been screwed up while you were switching. sorry, but i dont know too much about this, and thats all i can suggest...
