I got a Epson Stylus C44 Plus printer. I installed it with cups gimpprinter and everything seemed to have worked fine. I can e.g. print Open Office documents.
But when trying to print pdf-documents or text documents from console with lpr command, nothing happens. Is there any other command I should/could use for printing.
I tried cupsdoprint command, setting th PRINTER variable to /dev/usb/lp0 respectively /dev/usb/lp1 but -> 'client-error-not-found' is returned.
Any suggestions please?! I think there must be something, as printing with Open Office is possible.

sorry dont have a solution to your problem. in fact i am using fc2 and dont know which driver to use for stylus c44+. which one you were using to make it work?
