Since then my cd does not work properly ! ! ! , when I start my computer, the cd makes a verry scarry sound ! and even when in my comp I only have Suse, Fedora, & Debian; when I try 2 run from CD, sometimes say bad crc some other times like yesterday, the display goes really mad and Deb sais md5sum failed, fedora crashes marvelously setting my computer 2 an absolute off !!!, I even has to disconect my computer from electric source 2 make it on !!! WOW!. The only one works properly is Suse ad even play music on it, but still whith that scarry sound at the begining,& I can't burn cds without errors.

Say it, know it, rule !

It sounds like the CMOS on your systemboard is going bad or is already bad. Usually a CRC checksum error points to a bad CMOS. I don't think your machine will physically explode, but I believe you will need to replace your systemboard.
