Im having trouble figuring which sound driver was installed on my vaio pcg 4e1l. I went to sony style site and they dont have anything listed on this model. BTW my friend accidently wiped it out thats why I need help. would much appreciate help. THX Lenny

if you have Linux already installed try lsmod in a terminal

if no sound card is listed try /sbin/modprobe \*

then run alsaconf
