Headset mic not working/not recognized by Fedora 38
Hello, people
Some days ago, I installed Fedora 38 Workstation because I wanted to change my distro. However, I realized that the input headset was not working at all when I was supposed to be in a Teams meeting. I've been searching on the internet, but unfortunately I haven't found something useful for my particular case.
I have my software up to date and when I look for my device on PulseAudio, it is not even recognized.
Have you guys an idea about what I can do?
Thanks in advance
P.D.
Hardware:
Asus Vivobook go 15
Ryzen 5 7520 U
Kernel Version: 6.5 6-200
Headset: Corsair Hs35

If I understand correctly, the issue is with a headset. If there is a built-in mike, have you tested it?
If you have not already done so, in the Pulse Audio Mixer (pavucontrol--it's in the repos). It gives you much more granular control of audio configuration and devices. You may find, for example, that the input is muted.

Thanks for your reply!
I appreciate it.
Actually, I did. However, it didn't work for me. I tried this: dnf swap wireplumber pipewire-media-session
And then, I could solve some other problems that appeared after the installation of PulseAudio, e.g. no sound when rebooted. Now it works perfectly, but I still don't get my headset mic to work or even to be recognized.
