HDMI on ASUS 1201n

I recently installed linux mint 10 on my ASUS 1201n. It worked out well; almost everything worked out of the box. There is one problem though: I can't get the HDMI output to work. On windows, I just plug in a cord to my tv and it works, do I need to do something additional with linux? Or is this a driver issue?

Thanks in advance.

Are you using the NVIDIA proprietary driver, or the open source driver? By default it probably won't be using the NVIDIA drivers, which are closed source but offer the features you would expect from a proper manufacturer-supplied driver.
