hdmi and RaLink RT2860 problems
Hi Im running Linux mint 7 Gloria 64 bit version with a NVIDIA card on a newli Fijitsu Siemens amilon computer. Im connected to a sony lcd 40" tv via hdmi, the computer only has hdmi and dvi out for a monitor and no vga. Im having overscan problems that I havnt been able to fix and done a lot of searching online and there does not seem to be any real fixes for this. I have no sound through the hdmi and that seems to be a very common problem also. NVIDIA drivers on windows have an overscan fix option and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a fix on the way for the linux drivers?
Problem 2 is the computer has a built in RaLink wireless modem with the RT2860 chipset that works like a charm when not using wpa encryption but unable to connect to a wpa encrypted network, also done lots of research and seems like the wpa is broken in the built in kernel, anyone know if a fix for that is coming?
