I just loaded Fedora Core 6 on my Sony Vaio, came up perfect - no hardware issues except PCMCIA Wireless card: Hawking HWC54G. How do I get it installed and working? Thank you.
Distribution: RHEL/CentOS/SL 5 i386 and x86_64 pata for IDE in use

You may need the prism54 firmware file from http://prism54.org/fullmac.html you want the Version 1.0.4.3 firmware file (will download as 1.0.4.3.arm). After downloading rename to isl3890 and place a copy into /lib/firmware as root.
