ayaskant16 LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2008 Posts: 6 Rep:	having problem in detecting DM642 Dsp PCI card hi my texas DM642 pci card is getting detected by bios but the bios is not able to set IRQ for the device. i have even tried disabling all other port s in Bios . but still it is not able to set the IRQ and I/O port. the mother board i am using is BCM-FX815ELT bios is WHIZ bios processor is pentium 3 but when i am using a modem card it is able to set IRQ. any-body have any idea why it is not bale to set irq for this device is driver needed by bios to set IRQ? it will very helpful if anybody can suggest me a solution regards ayas
