Have NVIDIA nForce audio RedHat 7.3 shows 'sound server failed'.....
 

Hi there....

After successfully bringing up RH Linux 7.3 GUI ...many thanks to people in this forum....I'm set to start the audio.

Here are the details :

1. Processor : AMD Athlon Xp
2. OS : Red Hat Linux 7.3
3. Sound card : NVIDIA nForce Audio (I think its intedrated into the motherboard)

On starting Linux, I get the following message
' Sound Server failed '

Someone gimme some lead on this. I'm getting the feeling there isn't any NVIDIA Linux Driver for RH 7.3 .
