Harware to use for Redhat 9/Fedora?

I am going to build a new machine and want opinions (about the hardware config). HW cost under $2,000, so no suggestions to buy a $10,000 machine please.

The machine will be running Redhat 9/Fedora.
Sendmail+MailScanner+SpamAssassin+ClamAV
DNS/BIND
Apache+PHP
MySql
Qpopper
Radius
etc.

I am contemplating the following setup:
Tyan MB w/
Dual 2.4Ghz Xeon
2GB RAM
Promise SATA RAID (set to RAID0 for speed)
2 x 36GB SATA (like 10,000 rpm Western Digital Raptor)
...possibly 1 EIDE/ATA besides RAID for / , /boot and the like, using the RAID drive(s) for /var/ , etc.

Opinions on the Promise/RAID 0 for performance.
The main load on the server is Sendmail/Qpopper because of the number of user accounts on it.

Thanks!

"Opinions on the Promise/RAID 0 for performance."

Promise's Linux support is horrible. You are much more likely to have smooth sailing with HighPoint than Promise. As to speed, I have no opinion.
