Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

hardware virtualization support, KVM, CPU

my CPU (Celeron) doesn't support KVM/VT-x
If I upgrade just the CPU, will it be possible to use KVM mode in qemu and 64 bit guests in vbox?

If your new processor supports the VT-X technology (Intel's name for hardware virtualization support) then you will be able to run KVM.
I don't know if this includes hardware virtualization for 64 bit guests on 32 bit hosts, but you can definitely run 64 bit guests in VBox on 32 bit host systems.
