Hardware Recs for new Linux only system


Rebuilding my existing system (k7-500) and will be using strictly for linux. Any advice on mobo, processor and g-card that work well with linux...ie no driver problems?

If you are wanting a new mobo does that mean its still k7-500?

Check the hardware compatability list for the distro(s) you are thinking about running. Search the forums to see where most people have problems and what hardware they are using.

Get a Athlon, big cooling fan, SCSI disks and drives and a GeForce, as well as SBlive! or any SB for that matter. Serach the forums, cuz many people asked similar question and there are some good suggestions.
